The Food Storage and Distribution Federation (FSDF) is delighted to be exhibiting and presenting at this years’ Multimodal event at the NEC Birmingham from 1st – 3rd May 2012.
From 10h30 to 11h10 on Thursday 3rd May, the FSDF will be hosting a seminar led by CEO Chris Sturman in the Shippers’ Voice Seminar Theatre. As well as discussing the benefits of membership with the FSDF, the seminar “Current Warehousing and Transport Refrigeration” will focus on issues including the F-Gas phase out and the ongoing negotiations with Climate Change Agreements.
Mr. Sturman will also present the exciting development of the FSDF Food Logistics Training Pathway for the temperature controlled logistics industry. The Federation has committed to working closely with member companies and has designed an integrated vocational training programme to meet the needs of employers as well as provide a focused and continuous Professional Development Pathway for individuals working in the industry. This is currently fully funded.
The FSDF’s professional development pathway programme is being delivered in collaboration with Skills for Logistics, City & Guilds and the National Skills Academies through a network of specialist business training partners who are all experts in the temperature controlled logistics
