A most exciting development has been that FSDF and Transfrigoroute UK (TUK) are very pleased to announce that negotiations have been concluded and agreement reached for the two organisations to integrate membership and operations with effect from 1st April 2012.
Transfrigoroute President John Clark and Board member Graham Eames have been invited to join the Executive Board of FDSF and it is intended that Transfrigoroute UK will fit alongside the existing specialist committees covering Technical and Safety and Business Affairs to cover transport and logistics operational issues.
The merger of Transfrigoroute within FSDF will provide combined members with an Unrivalled source of industry knowledge and expertise, networking opportunities and membership services to cover all aspects of temperature controlled storage and distribution. We have a number of exciting initiatives in development and we look forward to rolling these out together with Transfrigoroute over the coming months.
John Clark, President of Transfrigoroute has also commented, saying that he is delighted to have been involved in the bringing together of these two long established and respected organisations, which has effectively created a one-stop-shop for everyone involved in controlled temperature logistics, as well as offering added value to existing members of both associations.
We look forward to meeting all our respective members and introducing them to the benefits they’ll receive from the combined forces of the FSDF and Transfrigoroute.
